WHAT IS RELIGION// MCGI REVIEW

The Bible is more than just an old book; it is a collection of writings that speak to real human experiences joy, pain, hope, failure, and faith. Through its stories, laws, poems, and letters, it shows how God relates with people in everyday life. From the struggles of ordinary individuals to the guidance given to families and communities, the Bible reflects life as it truly is, not as it should be. As Scripture says,
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
At the same time, the Bible serves as a steady guide for those seeking meaning and direction. It teaches that life has purpose beyond daily struggles and reminds readers that God remains faithful even when humans fall short. Many turn to the Bible for comfort during hard times and wisdom when facing difficult choices, because its words bring light and hope. This truth is captured in the verse,
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).
