Giving Gods Unchained a third go.

Saying I am giving it a third go sounds like I left the game. Which is not something I ever do. I never leave I just don't go back for very very long. That is pretty much applicable to anything.
I basically started playing Gods Unchained when they came out but like with many of these earning things I don't realise just how much it is worth to be first and milk the system dry.
Now I just trudge along playing when I feel like it and can say I do it for the fun.
The bonus really is that even if you do it for fun on the paupers web you will still earn a little. For every little you make, you then want to make a little more.
For the fun of course.
You first need a repertoire or assets with the games as with Hive and blogging.
So the choice will always be to accelerate that or wait behind the wishing fountain with a magnet rod.
Really the main pull for me with Gods Unchained first time I started was, oh it is like Hearthstone...
Second time after a year was a video I saw and remembered I have the game.
Third was yesterday because booting my local dev environment 3 hours before powercut and maybe working was not on the agenda.
Since the botty is playing Splinterlands for me and Risingstar only requires half a memory I figured I should play some Gods Unchained and see what changed.
Daily Play & Earn
They have now added a daily share based play to earn feature. It basically works that you play your first 10 games to try and win all 10 with payout being higher per win based on the quality of your cards. The more Shadow, Gold or Diamond type cards the higher your fragment earnings are.
I only have the one shadow copy card which I think I actually got in a Divine order pack.
It is a pretty cool mechanic and does make it feel more fair seeing as it is not just all games all day. You get your stuff in order and just try focus on 10 games as best you can.
That should take about an hour on average. The time constraint with Gods Unchained is definitely the biggest drawback if you are thinking in terms of $ per hour.
Now I don't know any other games but the Hive ones but $ per hour Splinterlands or RisingStar beat GodsUnchained hands down.
Playing experience wise, I would say Gods Unchained just feels better and is a lot more satisfactory. Given you get over the deck building hump which as with anything rather tedious can be either enjoyable or frustrating. Like mining in Minecraft.
So way above you saw the last number of 0.884 GODS ($0.27ish) , that means for my 10 Games I pumped out with a slapped-together Light deck and got 4 wins with 6 losses I will get about 1 GODS token.
Ontop of that I levelled twice which got me 2 core packs and stars to buy things on the star market and some flux to combine cards.
The combined cards are really not worth trying to sell unless you are milking the system for as much flux and cards as you can then possibly it could turn a couple of dollars.
So something to keep in mind down the line.
Gripes or Gripe
My biggest pain with the game and possibly a fault with my own mental faculty is the time it takes to get shit done.
I am yet to build new decks for each of my factions, and only slapped together one for light because the deck I copied from GuDecks was not for free to play.
It will take a good chunk of time to just do that to my satisfaction. Although aside from the first 10 daily or first 20 weekend games which have earnings tied to them. It is far more forgiving to just go on a solid losing streak in Gods Unchained than it is in Splinterlands.
So doing some trial and error can make it rather more fun.
Mainly I will play a bit more when I have 30 minutes burning and just lose if I need to since the main thing I would be after is the flux and packs I get per level.
Over time that is equitable to just getting your base 5 chests or whatnot a day in Bronze for Splinterlands.
Possibly why I don't play Gods Unchained as much is because I let it take more time than it should but like people you just gotta put things in their boxes and take them out when needed.
Then all will be hunky dory.
