Advanced Stats for Hive Witnesses Votes

 
In our latest post, we mentioned that the DHF Proposal Stats on HiveHub got an upgrade with more stats now available for the Hive community.

With this update, more stats are also now available for Hive Witnesses!

As a reminder the stats project has an API where all these stats are available to any website that would like to integrate them... we ourselves have an open source front end where we test and demonstrate the stats over on hivehub.dev... We will share some of what we have done with the visualization of the stats.

WITNESSES PAGE ADVANCED VIEW

When you go to https://hivehub.dev/witnesses, you will notice that you now have an option to switch between simple and advanced view.

Under the Advanced view mode, you will see an additional row for each witness containing a breakdown of the witness votes.

This row contains a breakdown for the vote count and HP votes of the following:

• The breakdown of votes over 1m - "10/51.75m" means 10 votes over 1m and total of 51.75m HP
• Votes over 500k but under 1m
• Votes from 100k-500k
• Proxied votes
   

VOTES DISTRIBUTION AND VOTES BREAKDOWN

If you click on the Pie icon, you will see a pop-up that shows a pie chart for the votes distribution and votes breakdown (HP).
 

For example, when we look at @steempeak's pie chart, we can see that when we hover above the 100k - 500k portion of the distribution, there is 9.75m HP votes in this range and we can also see the votes breakdown on the right side.
 

MORE DETAILS

When you scroll down the pop-up further, you can see a tabular form of the detailed overview for votes count and votes HP. As you can see, the next highest HP votes contribution (after the 10 over 1m HP votes) for the steempeak witness is coming from the 10k-100k HP votes category.
