Friday and time for a laugh.

Now why do you think that the lady squirrel was trying to hide her laughter.

I walked to the gate, as we were about to go out with the car, and a Hadeda Ibis bird walked into the road from our sidewalk. Our sidewalk is covered with grass, and the Hadedas love to dig in the grass for worms. So, this particular Hadeda was not too happy with me for disturbing its search for worms on our sidewalk.

So, we stood looking at each other.

And then, believe it or not, while watching me, the Hadeda did a poop.

Hahaha, the Hadeda laughed. Look you twit, this is what I think of you!

The little squirrel, in the meantime, laughed so much that her stomach was sore and she had to go and lay down on the low front wall of our garden. That will teach not to laugh at me.

Of course, later on, my wife felt sorry for her, and she gave her a nut.

This is my way of looking at things. I know that this did not really take place, but what would life be without humor? We have three power cuts today, and if it wasn't so bad I would also walk around laughing, as I am sure many others will as well. But that's the way that things are here, and it is not going to get better soon. So, we have the choice. We can either laugh or we can cry, and I am not the crying type.

Life is tough for the little creatures too, but we don't see them sitting around sulking. So, let us all create the habit of laughing a bit.
