Daily cafe routine

I live in Hachiman, Sendai, Japan. Hachiman is a convenient town, where has nearby, including a shopping mall with Hachiman Co-op as the center, a bank, a post office, and many buses. By the way, there used to be a coffee shop called Doutor in this shopping mall, but it closed in February of this year. I used to go there almost every day, so I was shocked to see the loss of a place where I could relax with a cup of coffee. I thought Doutor was doing well, so why? Maybe it was because prices were rising and they had no choice but to liquidate their store in Hachiman.
I have to find other places to relax. I've used the eat-in area at a bakery in Hachiman. I've also taken the bus to Veloce on Jozenji Street. Eventually, I came to think that I could take any bus to the Doutor or Starbucks at Sendai Station, and that they open at 7am and are open all year round. That is, if taking the bus wasn't such a hassle.
Today, I took the bus to Sendai Station, and it didn't take as long as I thought it would.
This is the Starbucks in the main building of S-Pal at Sendai Station.
One of my Facebook friends, a fellow artist, is a big supporter of art by people with disabilities, and the pictures on display at Starbucks were drawn by people with disabilities. I've heard that Starbucks exploits its employees and that a union has been formed, but I like the atmosphere inside Starbucks, so I have mixed feelings about it.
The iced Starbucks latte I had today made me feel calm. I think I'll try Doutor on another day.
Thank you for reading.
