The road bypassing the flood... after HiveFest 2024

A person has plans, but life makes its adjustments... I wanted to write every day about my impressions of the incredibly interesting and exciting time spent at Hivefest, but the rhythm of my life was too fast...
It was time to leave Croatia. There was a flood on the Danube on our way. And the task arose: how to get around it in a safe way... This was the first situation in our lives when we set out on the road, not knowing where our next stop would be and which route we would take further. My stress level was elevated and my blood pressure was elevated too!
Before getting into the car, I swam in the cold but so beautiful Adriatic Sea! The unique mountain pictures in the distance, illuminated by the sun, against the background of amazing clouds was impressive!
Near the quiet rocky beach where I swam, there was "Zagreb" restaurant, where we were able to eat before the road. Beautiful pictures of delicious food always keep our emotions bright.
Later I took a pill and we left our cozy Senj on a long journey to Slovakia...
Our dear friend @gtg advised us the best option - to go through Vienna. It was necessary to bypass Hungary, taking into account that Budapest is threatened by rising water levels in the Danube. We also have read about this confirmation in a post by @vcelier
...Danube really in flood!
So we set off in the direction of Vienna. We drove 400 km and decided to spend the night in the small Austrian town of Ferienwohnung Mautern
in the middle of the high Alps. When we arrived, it was already dark outside. The priority of this apartment was, of course, private parking near the house.
It was a very interesting apartment, with a long corridor, kitchen and bedroom far from each other. The design is very calm, there was a beautiful ekibana on the table. A separate toilet and bath were also a priority. A very pleasant atmosphere to relax.
My youngest Darinka arranged a bath with foam for a tired mom. We only had time to sleep.
But a beautiful and pleasant discovery awaited us in the morning!
We looked out the windows and saw an incredibly beautiful picture outside. Our apartment had views of the temple courtyard! The kitchen and holl windows were on the first floor, and the bedroom windows were on the second floor with a view of the cozy authentic yard! There were many bicycles and beautiful tiled roofs against the blue sky.
We drank coffee with pleasure, enjoying these window views and left the apartment, leaving ourselves another hour to explore such a beautiful find - a small unique Austrian village in the mountains, which became my first impression of Austria - orderly and cozy! We walked near the temple, where the sound of bells greeted us.
And then we walked along sunny streets, among colorful houses surrounded by incredibly beautiful Alps, among flower beds that really created a feeling of paradise on Earth!
My attention was drawn to the picture on the house: lions, an angel and some deep meaning of spiritual meaning...
I hope you enjoyed walking with me! I made one more stop on my way out of this beautiful place to see three amazing gnomes who must have come down from the Alps to wish me a safe journey!
And we left for Vienna, filled with this pure energy of a heavenly place! @darine.darine writes posts about Hivefest while walking 🙂
So, tomorrow I will also continue to share my impressions of the third day...
Thank you for your visit 💕
