Asides the fact that it's a centralised platform, they have the worst response team i have ever encountered in my life.

So i opened a publisher0x account about a year ago. Never really took it seriously because i was invested in hive, and i didn't have the luxury of spreading myself thin. After a year of inactivity, i decided to give the platform another try since everyone on leofinanace was talking about it only to have my account restricted.

I contacted the support team to know why my account was a restriction and i was told i run multiple accounts, none of which they would pinpoint. I provided the team with my email and username and stated that i have never posted on a different account and even if that was the case they could simply suspend the other accounts, what's so difficult in doing that? They control their database, don't they? Mind you, i haven't made a penny off their platform. So i have not necessarily profited from their platform and i am certain i haven't even posted more than five times on their platform. They should have the records on their database and that's the annoying thing--they act aloof.

I was given the herculean task of figuring out all the supported accounts linked to me.

You can name all accounts created so far, or recheck if anyone in your home uses Publish0x and we can review your account - otherwise it is in violation with the rules mentioned above, and will stay restricted.

It's the audacity for me

I find it not only outrageous but laughable. So they could figure out that i run multiple accounts but have no detail about these accounts? How so? Well, let's even assume i opened these said accounts and cannot remember their details, is it beyond their scope to resolve this issue?

The reality is that they can restrict or do as they see fit with my account. This is the problem of centralisation; this is why hive is superior to most of these crypto-based platforms. Imagine building a brand on such a platform and it's taken away from you for the silliest reason. That's scary.

Not your platform, not your account

I am not mad that i lost my account but the lack of professionalism and their inability to resolve a simple problem is surprising. I have had issues with my uptrennd account which was resolved easily so i can't make excuse for publish0x because they are a centralised platform as well.

OWNERSHIP

I consider ownership as the most important element of a decentralised network. Being responsible for account is the biggest and the most significant part of being part of a decentralised platform like hive. I take that for granted most days, but on days like this, i know better.
