We are already very close to the desired goal of becoming a dentist is why we have taken these weeks to perform community service hours, meet our requirements that certify us as a dentist because the law states that we must perform these hours of service in the various communities schools, as well as very vulnerable sites that require dental care in this opportunity we went to a school in the South zone where there are children who have economic stability, but we wanted to make a small survey because the institution wanted to know the health with which the children have.

That is why we prepared ourselves, we were five interns, together with a dentist already graduated since he had to be the monitor of our community service, to sign the sheets for approval, we attended approximately 255 children from third grade to sixth grade, it should be noted that there is quite an influx of children but these are quite cooperative and have a good behavior I was amazed because the older children are quite well with their teeth do not have enough cavities, as well as it was very common to see children without cavities but with a lot of bacterial plaque.

Finally, everything consisted of being able to observe the mouth of each of the children and fill out a diagram that was like a small medical history, which would allow the pediatrician to know each of the teeth, the state of the children and to monitor their parents so that they could fulfill their duty to take them to the dentist, I loved the atmosphere of the school very comfortable they treated us very well they gave us coffee and cookies, no doubt some of these community activities I love because we are face to face with the community, who needs us and so we provide our dental services in a comprehensive manner I hope dear friends that you can enjoy this publication.

Hola mis queridos amigos.

Ya nos encontramos muy cerca de la meta anhelada de convertirnos en odontólogo es por eso que hemos tomado estas semanas para poder realizar horas de servicio comunitario, cumplir con nuestros requisitos que nos acreditan como odontólogo ya que la ley establece que debemos realizar estas horas de servicio en las distintas comunidades colegios escuelas, así como también sitios muy vulnerables que requieran atención odontológica en esta oportunidad nos fuimos a una escuela de la zona Sur en donde hay niños que poseen estabilidad económica, pero quisimos hacer un pequeño sondeo ya que quería la institución quería conocer la salud con la que cuentan los niños.

Por eso que nos preparamos fuimos cinco pasantes, en compañía con odontólogo ya graduado ya que este tenía que ser el monitor de nuestro servicio comunitario, poder firmarnos las hojas para la aprobación atendimos aproximadamente a 255 niños de tercer grado a sexto grado, cabe destacar que hay bastante afluencia de niños pero estos son bastante colaboradores y tienen un buen comportamiento me quedé asombrada ya que los niños más grandes están bastante bien de sus dientes no presentan suficiente caries, así como era muy común ver a los niños sin caries pero con bastante placa bacteriana.

Por último todo consistió en poder observar la boca de cada uno de los niños llenar un diagrama que esté era como una pequeña historia clínica, que le iba a permitir a la pediatra conocer cada uno de los dientes, el estado que tenía los niños y hacerle un monitoreo a sus padres para que cumplieran con su deber de llevarlos al odontólogo, me encantó el ambiente del colegio bastante cómodo nos trataron muy bien nos regalaron café y galletas, sin duda algunas estas actividades comunitaria me encantan porque estamos de cara a cara con la comunidad, que nos necesita y así prestamos nuestros servicios odontológicos de una manera integral espero queridos amigos que puedan disfrutar esta publicación.
