The best companion for a cannoli is a cappucino (+RECIPE!)

Hello Hive community and coffee lovers! I hope you are doing great today.

A few days ago I made some chocolate filled cannolis at home and the truth is that a dessert without a good coffee is a total waste, at least for me, and since I made a dozen cannolis that were left in the fridge to eat when we get a sweet craving at home, I decided to resume my passion for coffee after a few months and make a cappucino and of course, show you the preparation here, in my favorite community.

To prepare the cannolis you can find my preparation in my post here.

To prepare the cappucino coffee you will need only a few ingredients, the ones listed below:

  • 1 tablespoon of instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons of hot water
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1 cup of milk
(Optionally you can add powdered cinnamon to enhance the flavor)

We are going to make the coffee cream by adding the instant coffee, sugar and hot water in a cup and beating at medium speed for 2 minutes until nothing comes out of the cup.

I used an electric whisk to froth, you can even use the manual whisk you have at home or the blender.

Reserve the coffee cream and proceed to prepare the milk (in my case) by beating with warm water and sugar until frothy, if you already have liquid milk beat until frothy.

Finally, we add our milk to the coffee foam, thus forming a gradient between the milk and the coffee cream and we can make any figurine with the foam.

And we obtain a frothy and delicious coffee, to which you can sprinkle cinnamon or chocolate to turn or take it this way, in company with a canonoli filled with chocolate like me.

I hope you like it and I hope to be more active in this community when I have free time in my work!
