Splinterlands: Not a Myth!

Since the implementation of the new Soulbound reward cards, Discord and HIVE have been flooded with screenshots and picture of amazing pulls from daily and seasonal focus chests. Opening chests, like opening packs, is an exciting experience as the probabilities game is fun to watch in front of our eyes. I feel my daughter has more luck than me so I often let her open them for me as I take her to school in the morning. It is also exciting given that it gives us Collectionist something to chase to complete our decks.

I have been lucky enough to get a number of Gold Foil Legendaries from chests and packs so I know the feeling. While I have never hit the SPS jackpot with large sums, I have gotten a couple of thousand Merits in some chests since the update months ago. I love these as I still need a good amount of Gladiators for my Guild Brawls. The new chest system has been great because it provides multiple items per chest as well. Given the new approach of cards being Soulbound, it also provided the team to take the same approach to the cards.

A number of people have gotten multiple Gold Foils in a chest. I have been lucky with some Rares and even Epic multiples as it seems that having the potions available helps. However, many users have reported the drop of Gold Foil Legendaries in multiples as well! It seemed like a myth until it just happened to me with a daily reward! In fact, I got three in one chest. That is amazing as it just takes 4 to max out. However, I wonder how lucky on must be to get that one more given the amount of new cards out there.

The continued updates by the team have continued to keep me engaged with the game in a positive way. I love chasing new cards particularly when I get them for just playing and participating in the gameplay. I look forward to continue building my Collection with these Soulbound cards as some have been interesting additions to the meta. While I have yet to play them much given that I play in Diamond and Champion, this one will be a first a the multiple drop makes in high enough to play in competitive battles!
