Acehnese Custom 'Aqiqah'

Hello morning everyone

A few days ago, precisely on February 13, 2025, I and my coworkers went to the akikah event of a teacher's child located in Sawang, North Aceh.
We all left at 10:00 from Lhokseumawe city to Sawang, precisely in Palo Rungkop Timu. The distance we traveled was about 30 KM.

Some went by bus and some by motorbike. We arrived in 1 hour. When we got there we were offered goat meat. Where in Acehnese tradition, if a girl is slaughtered 1 goat and if a boy is slaughtered 2 goats.

See my friend so much enjoying his food and almost left the bus group. Some of them have finished eating and will go back to school.
And don't forget we took a picture first as a souvenir.
