And why should you choose it?

As mentioned above, studying history follows the country on the one hand, and the world on the other. In the first year of studying history, you are studying a minor insight into the history of your home country, along with some introductory historical materials for the field.

For the most part, in the first year you study information materials such as: the history of ancient Egypt (or the history of your mother country), then the history of the Arabs in general, especially the stage with before Islam, the history of Europe in the Middle Ages, the history of the civilization of Greece, the history of Asia, and the history of the peoples of the ancient Near East . But of course you study the past of these civilizations until a certain time only, it is considered a time of origin and beginning to open that civilization, and you study the rest of history when developing in university years, and from the other side you study general subjects such as: the Arabic language (literature, grammar, and exchange), as well as computers. These side courses help you to be professional in the field, and besides this and that you study one of the ancient or modern languages, whether it is Greek or Eastern. She chooses to study a language such as: Greek, Latin, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish.

The following year you rise a little in the historical content that you study, and complete the date you stood at in the first year. To find yourself in front of the history of the Ottoman and Umayyad states, and the history and civilization of the Romans in the imperial era, as well as the history of prophecy and mature caliphate in the Islamic era, and of course complete some of the aforementioned titles such as: the history of Central Europe, and so on, in addition to completing the study of an oriental and European language in parallel.

Then you move to the third year in which you specialize in only one language, either Eastern or European, and you complete your third and fourth year, and in the third and fourth you move from the beginnings of civilizations and the emergence of thinking and logic, to the stage of modern history, you study modern Arab history, modern European history, wars The Crusader, and the history of your modern mother country as well. This is in addition to studying some sub-subjects such as: political geography, and the method of historical research. And then you move to contemporary history, and the current situations coexist, and with it you finish your study of history in general.

Of course, you should read and study different books and references during and after finishing college, and this is to gain knowledge and make your knowledge yield more abundant and solid, and thus you can find work quickly after graduation, and I advise you to read (The Story of Civilization), written by the late philosopher and historian: Will Durant.
