Sharing a simple process on how i renew a old car seat

Hey guys
Happy weekend. How are you enjoying your weekend? I hope is going great. If you care about mine, it's going well.
I am very excited to be able to create a post here with you guys, and this will be my first time creating a post on how I change the seat cover of an old seat to make it new again with different color combinations from the old one.
After
Before
If you look at the seat before and after, you will see a very big difference in terms of color combinations. This was chosen by my client, but for me, I suggested black and red, but he chose this very color. At first, I did not believe the color combinations would be so beautiful like this until I finished the work and saw the beauty of them. Even I really love the color combinations, and I hope you love them too.
Let's learn together some simple steps I follow to make the old car seat turn out new, but before I proceed, i will love to list out some materials and tools used.
Tools/Material needed
- sewing machine
- new leather
- set of sucking spanners
- star and flat screwdriver
- roof material
- gum
- pliar
- clips
- sewing tape
- scissors
- long ruler
- chalk, etc.

Here is my new leather.
The reason for changing the seat cover of this very seat is because the old leather has expired.
Let's get started.
Firstly, I need to keep the seat separate from the back so that it will be easy for me to have access to all parts of the seat. Note: I will be using only one front seat to illustrate my working process.
With the help of a star screwdriver, I loose out the side cover of the seat.
And also the bolt on the seat to be able to separate the seat from the back. See photos below.
After seperating the seat, I then use a measuring tape to take the measurements of each pattern of the seat.
Consider the longest part of both vertical and horizontal, and then write it on the seat.
Since I am using two difference colors of leather, I will be using black on the sides and white on the center.
Transferring the measurements to the new leathers
Note that the horizontal length should be on the horizontal in new leather, and the same to the vertical part to get it done.
Here is the center.
I finally used scissors to cut them out.
After cutting your leather out, the next thing is to form your pattern, and this is done very simply.
To get it done, just place the new-cut leather in its position and then trace it out.
And that is the method I use to get all the patterns of the seat. Although you people do loose the old one and place on the new leather and shape it out, any one that is simple for you, you can try.
After getting the pattern ready, I then gum it to a roof material to make it think and smooth, or you can use foam, still the same thing.
I then use scissors to cut it out.
And finally, my pattern is ready for sewing.
With the help of the sewing machine, I then join those patterns together.
I use the old seat, which has my references.
So like that, I sew everything, and my new seat cover is ready.
After sewing, I then clipped the new seat cover to the frame with the help of pliers and clips. I will love to share a video on this for easy understanding.
The main seat
Done clipping it
The back seat
Done clipping it
And here are both of them.
After that, I then tight them back as before, and here are the final results.
I follow the same process to achieve others.
I finally tightened them inside the car.
I hope you love this, and it looks so beautiful. I really took my time to create this post with enough pictures for easy understanding.
Thanks to everyone for going through and for your support. I love you all and expect more from me in my next post.
