Tuesday again, so time for another Three Tune Tuesday, an initiative by @ablaze.
This time, I'd like to dedicate this TTT to songs/bands I recently found.
They've been around for some time, but I came across them by accident, and thought they were worth listening to. So here it goes...

One I found while visiting the Netherlands

When I arrived in the Netherlands in October, I checked out the local event halls to see if there were any concerts worth going to. I'm from a city where they have some major concerts sometimes. I've seen some pretty well-known artists there, like No Doubt and Staind. Not those that would have 1000's of fans line up for them, but not small either. Last year, for instance, the city had a free concert by no other than Massive Attack. Not just any name.

So while I was browsing the event hall websites, I came across some more well-known names, but none of them interested me. Until my eye fell on a name I'd never heard of: "Planet of Zeus".
The first song that came up for me on YouTube sounded like Southern US rock...
But the band is actually from Greece (yeah, the name gives it away).
Turns out, they've been around for quite some years already. I just never heard of them.
The leadsinger's voice is definitely something...

Also found by accident

The second one I found on a friend's Facebook page.
She had just gone to their concert. So I listened. And I liked it. It's not the usual kind of music I'll listen to. In fact, I detest anything remotely country or western style, but this one has somewhat of a blues influence, and a lot of SOUL. And I really, really like it.
Those voices are amazing.

Unfortunately, they had to cancel their upcoming concerts due to a health issue of one of the members. Let's hope he can heal quickly.
