Hoy les comparto unas imágenes que tomé mientras intentaba recuperar mi forro de teléfono, es de estos tipo 360* que se supone que vienen con una funda/forro transparente ,y dos caretas ,una delantera y otra trasera que forman un marco y protege al teléfono de caídas , y yo soy bien torpe jejej y siempre me ando tropezando, y la verdad cuido mucho mi celularcito. Pero lo malo con el tiempo, es que estás fundas que son de silicóna transparente ,se va volviendo amarillo con el tiempo ⏱️, así que se me ocurrió teñirlo con la vieja técnica confiable,de usar papel crepé de colores como tinte, tal como en la primaria, esto lo usé para cortarlo en trocitos, y puse en un bol con agua caliente, lo mezclé un poco hasta que se empezará a teñir bien el agua, y luego introduje mi forro transparente (amarillento ) y lo sumergí, lo deje unos 5 min de cada lado, porque mi envase era un poco más pequeño y la funda quedaba sobresaliendo y lo fui cambiando cada cierto tiempo para que se tiñera todo completamente.El forro lo deje unos 45 minutos en esa agua y luego comprobé que hubiera tomado colorcito. Luego lavé el forro con agua y jabón , esto lo hice como cuatro veces para asegurarme que no saliera el agua con tiente(por miedo a que se me manchara el tlf o la ropa) ,y ya cuando vi que no salía nada de color en el agua , coloqué de nuevo la funda ahora teñida en el envase con un poco de agua caliente ,para asegurarme que quedara bien fijada la pintura. Luego sequé bien el forro y quedó de ese color moradito ,por la mezcla del papel azul y magenta, me encantó como quedó 💜☺️✨.O por lo menos así fue hasta que puse la funda en el celular y la verdad es que no se ve la diferencia,😅un ligero color morado ,(porqué el fondo es azul), pero por lo menos ya no se ve tan amarillenta así que funcionó un poco ✨😅💜.

But the bad thing over time is that these covers are made of transparent silicone, they turn yellow over time ⏱️, so I thought of dyeing it with the old reliable technique, of using colored crepe paper as dye, just like in elementary school, I used this to cut it into small pieces, and put it in a bowl with hot water, I mixed it a little until the water started to dye well, and then I introduced my transparent (yellowish) liner and submerged it, I left it for about 5 minutes on each side, because my container was a little smaller and the cover was sticking out and I changed it from time to time so that everything was dyed completely. I left the liner in that water for about 45 minutes and then checked to see if it had taken color. Then I washed the cover with soap and water, I did this like four times to make sure that the water didn't come out with dye (for fear of staining my phone or clothes), and when I saw that no color came out in the water, I put the now dyed cover back in the container with a little hot water, to make sure the paint was well set. Then I dried the cover well and it was that purple color, due to the mixture of blue and magenta paper, I loved how it turned out 💜☺️✨. Or at least it was until I put the cover on the cell phone and the truth is that you can't see the difference, a slight purple color (because the background is blue), but at least it doesn't look so yellowish anymore so it worked a little ✨😅💜.
