It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Decorations are appearing in store windows and shoppers are beginning to crowd the city sidewalks.

These scenes were photographed through the bus window in downtown Chicago while driving down State Street.

Frango's have been iconic Chicago candies ever since Marshall Field's department store in began producing them on the 13th floor of the State Street store.
The chocolate mints have been a part of my holidays ever since I was a child.

This window celebrates the famous Marshal Fields clocks which are on two corners of the store building. "Meet me under the clock" became a convenient downtown meeting spot when it was firsr installed in 1897.

A Christmas shopping trip into the city is a tradition for many people.
