That was probably the best possible present for my birthday. My colleagues know what I like!

Hey, hey… how are you, beer lovers? It’s already a few weeks since I last dripped a post here, but this time is over. One of the reasons is that lately I drink only commercial beer, which is nothing interesting at all, bit after all it is just beer.

Two weeks ago I had my birthday and I leally liked one of my presents. My colleagues gifted me with a set of craft beers and although I have already tried some of them there are some brand new releases.

My wondering was about whoch one to be my first one… lets see… let’s grab

Room 101!

The beer is brewed by the Swedish brewery Brewski and is in the style West Coast IPA. Excitement starts to rise. Last time I had a craft beer, it was NEIPA, if I remember correctly, so this time it is a more classical West Coast one.

Room 101 is inspired bu the famous TV series and altiough I didn’t watch any of the elisodes, the label looks quite cool. The man looking out of the TV is like a strict daddy who wants to tell you “Wat you waitin’? Cam open this can!”

Out of the can, beer looks quite tasty and drinkable. The head is quite big, but that’s not really an issue. Color is caramel and the body is a bit hazy and waiting to be tasted.

Here I have mentioned that Wst Coast IPA is probably my favorite IPA, for being dry and putting hops in the spotlight. I love hop based bers and sometimes the malty body takes off some of the beautiful flavors of that plant.

In mouth it was great as expected, but definitely not the best of its kind. I have tried some spectacular WC IPAs, which had a great impact on me. And although Room 101 was an exceppent beer, it was not a beer that I will remember, like the Stone IPA that I had like 7 yewars ago.

Overall, the beer is excellently refreshing and light bodied. You can easily take a 6 pack and finish it in a matter of hours. If I had the finances, sich a set was gonna be already in my frefrigerator, waiting to be consumed.

That’s for now, hopefully next week we are gonna be together again with some different beer from my birthday present. Can’t really wait for that!
