A Morning Walk: Walking With My Mom
7 comments

Today I want to join the #wednesdaywalk challenge from @tattoodjay.
Our walk took us to Brgy. Sta. Cruz... our assigned territory for the day.

It was where we would spend our morning, walking.
I was with my mom, who was more than ready for the walk.
She's wearing her red hat and looking beautiful as always. 😍

The sun was already up, and the weather clearly called for a hat.
Thankfully, Brgy. Sta. Cruz welcomed us with cool and refreshing air because of the trees lining the path.

Making the walk comfortable and enjoyable.

As we continued walking, we passed by a house with a garden that immediately caught my attention.

It was filled with different kinds of flowers, like orchids, roses, and other plants that made the space feel alive and well cared for.
But, among all of them, one flower stood out to me.
It was the vibrant red cockscomb!

Its color was striking. And it looked so healthy and full of life.

The texture and richness of its red petals made it impossible to ignore.
Then while I was still admiring it, a family of carabao passed by the road.

I felt amazed as I've always seen carabaos from afar. Usually in open fields.
But this time, they were right in front of me!
A man was riding one of them, guiding the two larger carabaos.
Following them was a baby carabao, unleashed and simply keeping up.
As it passed right in front of us, it suddenly ran. 🤣

Maybe it got scared of us. 🤭
Anyway, it moved faster, which made me smile. 😅
It was unexpected, yet a little funny.
Walking that day left me feeling light.
It also makes me happy, especially coz I share my time with someone I love. 💖
Until my next walk...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
