Yo Voy — Zion & Lennox feat. Daddy Yankee | Music & Rising Star Stats

After about five months without posting in this section, I’m back today with one of these music posts that I used to do fairly regularly for quite some time. The idea is still pretty much the same: to share a song I like, explain a little about how I came to discover it, and add some fun facts.

During this time, my Spotify playlist kept growing quite a bit, mainly because I kept finding new songs and rediscovering others I hadn't listened to in a long time. So after several months, I figured it was a good time to pick up this section again.

Yo Voy — Zion & Lennox feat. Daddy Yankee

My music pick for this post is “Yo Voy” by Zion & Lennox featuring Daddy Yankee. In this case, I’m straying quite a bit from the genres I usually feature, because I’ve never been much of a reggaeton fan, nor am I a big listener of today’s pop music.

Even so, I have to admit that there are several reggaeton tracks from years past that really speak to me. Mainly songs by artists like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, or Plan B, which ended up being part of an era when this genre was playing practically everywhere.

“Yo Voy” is one of those songs I’ve known for a very long time. It has that early 2000s reggaeton sound that I personally enjoy much more than many of today’s songs in the genre, mainly because of its beats and how catchy they are.

I also really like the combination of Zion & Lennox and Daddy Yankee. Each has a very recognizable style, and the song shifts between their voices without losing that rhythm, which it maintains practically from start to finish.

Although reggaeton never really made it onto my list of favorite genres, songs like this are a pretty clear exception. There are several songs from that era that I can still listen to without any trouble, and they inevitably make me feel a bit nostalgic.

In the end, I think it’s another example of how you don’t have to be a fan of a genre to find songs you really like. “Yo Voy” is one of those songs I still enjoy, even though my music tastes usually lean much more toward rock, hip-hop, and other styles.

Among the projects I’m currently working on is

, one of the most widely used platforms within my ecosystem. It’s a marketplace focused on NFTs from games and projects built on the Hive Engine, designed to make it easier to buy, sell, and search for assets across different collections.

Over time, I’ve added new features, filters, and improvements to make the platform more user-friendly and adapt it to the needs of each game. Currently, Hive NFTs supports Rising Star Game, Big Dog Bone, Cryptoshots, DemoniCore, and PirateSaga, though the plan is to continue expanding this list in the future.
