Hello, everyone! Today I will be continue to share high-quality songs, share how I discovered them, and share some interesting facts about them. To top it all off, I will also include several tables with the statistics compiled by the Rising Star game.
Since May, I have been creating a playlist to keep track of the latest songs I have discussed in my posts. This will help me keep track of the songs I have used so I dont end up repeating them. The last song I talked about in my last post is: Rebel Without Pause from the band Public Enemy.
Paseando por Temperley: Los Autenticos Decadentes
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Paseando por Temperley from the iconic argentine band Los Autenticos Decadentes.
As I always say, since I was a kid I was strongly influenced by Argentine rock, which over time became one of my favorite genres of all time. And this is mostly thanks to my mother, because at home it was normal to have the radio playing songs by Charly Garcia, Cerati, Spinetta, Pappo, and other artists.
Over time, I listened to more and more, and little by little I ended up doing the same thanks to the release of the innovative music app Spotify. Along the way, there are bands that come up again and again when talking about Argentine rock, and one of them is Los Autenticos Decadentes.
I remember that my grandfather, whom I had the opportunity to know for a few years of my life, used to sing a song by this group called La Guitarra, which had a rather comical part. Not only that, but I also had the opportunity to go to a free concert they gave in Morón, where they played several of their most iconic songs, one of which was Los Piratas.
Finally, in the last two years, I have ended up listening to this band a lot more, mainly after discovering several collaborations with artists such as Julieta Venegas, La Maldita Vencidad, and many more. One of the most classic songs I like by the band is the one I have selected for today's post, titled Paseando por Temperley.
Los Auténticos Decadentes is an Argentine rock band formed in the late 1980s, with more than ten members. The group is made up of more than ten artists who have changed over time, but among the main and best known are Gustavo Parisi, Jorge Serrano, Gustavo Montecchia, Gaston Bernardou, and Diego Demarco.
Their first studio album was El milagro argentino, released in 1989, which included songs such as Veni Raquel and Loco (Tu Forma de Ser). With each album, they reached a much larger audience, and one of their peaks was Mi Vida Loca, released in 1995, which made them famous in Latin America with songs such as La Guitarra and Corazón. Little by little, they began collaborating with other artists and bands, making a name for themselves in the music industry not only in Argentina but throughout the continent.
