Hello creative hiver how are we all doing I hope we are all doing fine I had a beautiful day today I went out with my daughter to attend priestly anniversary And we really enjoyed our self .
I made this beautiful dress for my daughter although I made use of the remaining material I sew for my kid sister so and the name of this styles it called Ole ku in Yoruba language which mean ( wrapper and blouse ) this beautiful dress I made is one of my daughter birthday dress , I thought it wouldn’t look fit on her because she is still small to tie wrapper but to my greatest surprise the out fit came out beautiful on her so I took her to a studio to snap this picture .
The beautiful aspect of it is that I tie this gele which mean head tie it make her look mature and unique .
I folded the Kampala into four then I measured the neck line to be 2” length and 2” width then the sleeve is 5” + folding allowance then I measured 20” for the wrapper and the remaining fabric was use for the head tie.
After cutting it was very easy to join so I took it to my sewing machine then I join them together and it came out very beautiful.
I hope this out fit came out beautiful on her I will appreciate your friendly comment and support .
