DIY on how I made this beautiful ball gown for my daughter 3month birthday

Hello creative hiver, great morning to all my beautiful and creative friends I was your night rest and how was your weekend I hope we all enjoyed our weekend.

Today I will like to share with you all how I made this beautiful ball gown for my daughter to celebrate her 3 month birthday .
I had this lace fabric at home all this while so I thought of sewing it for my daughter and it came out beautiful 😻.

Material used
Half yard of lace fabric
5yard of net material
Zip
Measuring tape
Satin

I will love to share the cutting tutorial and the sewing step of this gown .

Cutting step

The down part of the gown has layer , I firstly cut the flare part by folding the satin material into 4 then I measure the waist circumference to be 7” folded then I cut the net into 12” then I folded it into 2” and make the gathers from the center .

After cutting the down part I measured 8” for the half length then 5” for the shoulder then the sleeve is 5” by 5” .

Sewing step

I run the gathers on the satin then join it to the half length and I fixed the zipper .

Finishing

After making the dress I took my daughter to the studio and the dress really came out beautiful on her .
