Fable about lice

On the crown of a man's head, there lived a louse. From his hairy home, he watched with concern as more and more hairs fell out every day.
-Oh no,’ he exclaimed one day, ’If this man goes bald, where will I live?
His lice friends played it down. But he decided to take matters into his own hands. He started biting harder on the man's head, hoping that the itching would stop the hair loss.
Unfortunately, the opposite happened. The more the man scratched, the more hairs fell out. Soon, the bald spot became bigger than a football field.
The louse and his friends, homeless, had to migrate to another scalp. As they walked sadly, he lamented:
-If only I had understood that my bites made things worse, none of this would have happened.
The moral is: sometimes, no matter how hard we try to solve a problem, our intervention can make the situation worse. Sometimes it is better to leave things as they are.
