Holozing Fan Art | Emberox and Light Healer contemplating from above

Good morning, dear readers! Happy Monday and, of course, happy start to the week to everyone. I hope you are all doing great and that you had a wonderful weekend full of rest and, like me, were able to recharge your batteries a little. For those of you who are new here and don't know me yet, let me introduce myself. My name is Manuel, and this is my blog, where I like to share a little bit about my day-to-day life, especially my drawings and artistic creations.

Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras, feliz lunes y por supuesto feliz inicio de semana para todos, espero que se encuentren super bien y que haya pasado un maravilloso fin de semana lleno de descanso y al igual que yo hayan podido recargar un poco las baterías; para quienes sean nuevos por aquí y aun no me conozcan pues me presento, mi nombre es Manuel, y este es mi blog, el lugar donde me gusta compartir de todo un poco sobre mi día a día, especialmente sobre mis dibujos y creaciones artísticas.

This time, I'm bringing you a new illustration focused on the game #Holozing, which is one of the most popular games on our beloved #Hive platform. In this case, I wanted to create a representation of two characters from the game: The Light Healer, and accompanying her is the great fire dragon (EMBEROX), which is the evolved stage of its previous version, the little dragon (EMBERION). At this stage (EMBEROX), it becomes a creature twice its original size, its legs stretch out a lot, and its claws become much sharper, as do its arms or upper limbs, which become two large wings that allow it to fly much better and protect itself from enemy attacks:

En esta oportunidad vengo a traerles una nueva ilustración enfocada en el juego de #Holozing, el cual es uno de los más populares dentro de nuestra querida plataforma de #Hive, en este caso quise hacer una representación sobre 2 personajes del juego como lo son La Sanadora de la luz, y junto a ella acompañándola se encontraría también el gran dragón de tipo fuego (EMBEROX), el cual es la etapa evolucionada de su versión anterior, el pequeño dragón (EMBERION); en esta etapa (EMBEROX) se convierte en una criatura con el doble de su tamaño original, sus patas se estiran mucho y sus garras se vuelven mucho mas afiladas, así como sus brazos o extremidades superiores las cuales pasan a ser 2 grande alas las cuales le permiten poder volar mucho mejor y cubrirse de los ataques enemigos:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I decided to start the drawing process by making a small sketch to define the basic shape of both characters, their poses, structure, and so on. In this case, I drew the Light Healer in a slightly portrait style, with an appearance that was quite in line with my illustration style. and just behind her, I drew the great dragon (EMBEROX) almost in full body, as if mounted on some rocks. I decided to start the coloring process by bringing the skin to life. In this case, I used medium pink tones mixed with a little red to achieve some warmth in the middle of the face. Then, with my watercolor brush, I blurred the lines a little to soften the skin and give it a more realistic texture, as well as adding some low shadows.

Decidí empezar con el proceso de mi dibujo construyendo un pequeño boceto para ir definiendo mas o menos la forma básica de ambos personajes, la posa, estructura y demás, en este caso dibuje a la Sanadora de la luz un poco a estilo retrato, y con una apariencia bastante amoldada a mi estilo de ilustración, y justo detrás e ella dibuje al gran dragón (EMBEROX) casi a cuerpo completo como montado sobre algunas rocas. Decidí empezar con el proceso de coloreado dándole vida a la piel, en este caso use unos tonos medio rosados mezclando un poco con tonos rojizos para lograr un poco de calidez a la zona media de la cara; luego con mi pincel de acuarela fui difuminando un poco los trazos para suavizar un poco la piel y darle una textura un poco mas realista, así como también agregue ciertas sombras bajas.

When you have finished with the skin of the Healer, move on to painting her eyes and facial expression. In this case, use light and dark shades of yellow to form the basic parts of the eye, such as the iris, the pupil, and also the highlights with a fine brush. Then, for the mouth, use more crimson reds and try to give the lips plenty of volume by sketching a subtle smile. As for the hair, light healers always have platinum white hair, and in this case, I wanted to keep this, but I adapted the hairstyle a little to my own style. That's why I decided to give her a bun at the back of her head, which I did patiently using my bristle brush.

Al terminar con la piel de la Sanadora contiene con el pintado de sus ojos y la expresión de su rostro, en este caso use tonos amarillos entre claros y oscuros para ir formando las partes básicas del ojo como son el iris, la pupila, y también los brillos con un pincel fino; luego para el pintado de la boca use rojos mas carmesí y trate de darle bastante volumen a los labios esbozando una sutil sonrisa. Con respecto al cabello los Sanadores y Sanadoras de luz siempre tienen una cabellera blanca platinada, y en este caso y quise mantener esto, pero adapté un poco su peinado a mi estilo propio, es por ello que decidí darle un peinado recogido de moño detrás de su cabeza, esto lo hice con paciencia usando mi pincel de cerdas.

In the third stage, I continued with the Healer's outfit. In this case, I also wanted to give her outfit a more personalized touch. For the blouse that fits her body, I used brown tones for the base, and then yellow tones for the light logo right in the middle of the garment. Then, using grays, I adapted the original design of the Light Healer's dress a little and decided to make her a kind of open, sleeveless shirt or blouse with gold details on the collar. To create the great dragon (EMBEROX), I used a palette of red tones to create the base of its body, then used orange tones to make gradient strokes on the tip of its head, horns, and tail. Next, I used orange tones to texture the inside of the large wings, giving them a little shading.

En la 3ra etapa continúe con la vestimenta de la Sanadora, en este caso también quise darle un toque un toque mas personalizado a su atuendo, para la blusa ajustada a su cuerpo use tonos marrones para la base, y luego tonos amarillos para el logo de la luz justo en la zona media de la prenda; luego con grises adapte un poco el diseño original del vestido de la Sanadora de la luz y quise mejor hacerle una especie de camisa o blusa abierta sin mangas, pero con detalles dorados en el cuello. Para la creación del gran dragón (EMBEROX), use una paleta de tonos rojos para crear la base de su cuerpo, luego con tonos naranjas realice trazos degradados en la punta de su cabeza, cuernos y la cola; después con tonos naranjas me encargue de texturizar la parte interna de las grandes alas dándole un pequeño sombreado.
