Living life in the fast lane is not easy for many. As time goes by, it seems as if the world is spinning faster and everyone is desperately rushing around. Is it just that we are trying to squeeze more into their days?

I see people who are desperately lonely watching the world go by. It doesn't take much to brighten their day: a smile, a greeting, listening to what the person is saying, or offering help with a heavy parcel. Take a little time to pop in to take a homemade meal or cookies to a lonely neighbour, and have a short chat.

Music truly is food for the soul, and today is the time to share a little music for Three Tunes Tuesday. @ablaze is the man who started this initiative and kept it going for 242 weeks, quite a feat! He's sharing

, listen to his choice of music, and read about the initiative:

For those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday....
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

I'm sharing some of the music my sons introduced to us.
The music of Coldplay used to echo through the house when my sons were both studying at college after high school. Hubby and I also enjoyed their music, but it was sometimes a little too loud, especially on a weeknight when they both were supposed to be studying!

Nirvana was another favourite of my older son. Tragically, Kurt Cobain committed suicide at the age of twenty-seven. Struggling with bipolar disorder, addiction, and pain. He opted not to have treatment, as many others refused to do back in the nineties. The band members went their separate ways after Cobain's death.

Love Me Through The Storm, Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga

I promise to love and cherish you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep myself only unto you, for so long as we both shall live.

Bonus Song - a little more Coldplay: Fix You

A song about love, loss, and healing, written by Chris Martin for his wife, at that time Gwyneth Paltrow, after the death of her father.

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

A repeat of Fix You, but this is a 2021 live performance with Ed Sheeran, a fan of Coldplay from a young age.

Just a little kindness goes a long way to give someone hope again, knowing that there is somebody who cares. We tend to turn a blind eye, but we really need to look a little deeper. Some people will rebuff, but we should not allow that to put us off reaching out to others.
Kindness builds bridges and connects people from different backgrounds.
