Today I share with you a Fan Art of the water element curator of Holozing, where the style of this drawing was in Pixel Art Chibi, creating a medieval character with long hair of the same element, a very adorable version of the original in my own style, then I will be sharing the process of creating this drawing.

El día de hoy les comparto un Fan Art del curador de elemento agua de Holozing, donde el estilo de este dibujo fue en Pixel Art Chibi, creando un personaje medieval con cabello largo de su mismo elemento, una versión muy adorable de la original a mi propio estilo, a continuación les estaré compartiendo el proceso de creación de este dibujo

First I started my drawing making the silhouette of my character, where the style of this drawing is the chibi, where here the characters are smaller and adorable, so from the beginning of my drawing, I had planned to turn it into a knight, making an armor of this style is complicated, since it is very rare that I draw chibi, so this step was very interesting.

Once the silhouette of my character is done, we can appreciate that the lines of the silhouette of my character are too thick, so I use a tool similar to the magic wand that allows me to mark, pixel by pixel each of the squares that make the silhouette of my character look thick, so thanks to draw each part of this character in different layers, I can work only in one part placing the other invisible layers.

Primero comencé mi dibujo realizando la silueta de mi personaje, donde el estilo de este dibujo es el chibi, donde aquí los personajes son más pequeños y adorables, así que desde el inicio de mi dibujo, tenía pensado convertirlo en un caballero, hacer una armadura de este estilo es complicado, ya que es muy raro que dibuje chibi, así que este paso fue muy interesante.

Una vez realizada la silueta de mi personaje, podremos apreciar que las líneas de la silueta de mi personaje están demasiado gruesas, así que use una herramienta similar a la barita mágica que me permite marcar, pixel por pixel cada uno de los cuadros que hacen que la silueta de mi personaje se viera gruesa, así que gracias a que dibuje cada parte de este personaje en diferentes capas, puedo trabajar solamente en una parte colocando las demás capas invisibles.

Thanks to the fact that I used the digital drawing technique in the previous step, we can observe a big difference with my character, in the upper part of this text you can notice a before and after when I adjusted all the pixels so that the silhouette of my character doesn't look thick and also some of them made my drawing look disproportionate.

One of the things why I love drawing in pixels, is that I can play a lot with each of the pixels of my canvas, where I can use some colors with different gradients to create a character.

Gracias a que use la técnica de dibujo digital en el anterior paso, podemos observar una gran diferencia con mi personaje, en la parte superior de este texto podrán notar un antes y un después cuando ajuste todos los píxeles para que la silueta de mi personaje no se aprecie gruesa y también algunas de ellas hacían que mi dibujo se observará desproporcionado.

Una de las cosas por las que me encanta dibujar en píxeles, es que puedo jugar mucho con cada uno de los píxeles de mi lienzo, donde puedo usar algunos colores con diferentes degradados para poder crear a un personaje.

For the next step which is the most important in every drawing, comes the part of the valorization, where I used cold and flat colors in all my character, in the case of the blue color, I had to use other colors so that they didn't mix, a tone a little darker than the hair in the part of the hair and the armor so that these colors didn't mix.

Next, I started to work with the shading and lighting of the hair, I also used some darker gradients than the rest of the colors I used for the hair so that it would have a little more volume.

Para el siguiente paso el cual es el más importante en todo dibujo, viene la parte del valorizado, donde use colores fríos y planos en todo mi personaje, en el caso del color azul, tenía que usar otros colores para que no se mezclaran, un tono un poco más oscuro al del cabello en la parte del cabello y la armadura para que estos colores no se mezclaran.

Seguidamente, comencé a trabajar con el sombreado, e iluminación del cabello, también use algunos degradados más oscuros que el resto de los colores que use para el cabello para que tuviera un poco más de volumen.

Next, I used a much darker tone than the color that makes the shading of the hair of my character, then with that dark blue color, I changed the color to the pixels that make up the silhouette of my drawing, this way you can notice much better the colors of this part of my drawing.

After working with the hair of the character, I began to work completely with the face, applying the same techniques to give more beauty to the eyes and with its shading and gradients of the face.

Seguidamente, use un tono mucho más oscuro que el color que hace el sombreado del cabello de mi personaje, luego con ese color azul oscuro, le cambie el color a los píxeles que conforman la silueta de mi dibujo, de esta manera se puede notar mucho mejor los colores de esta parte de mi dibujo.

Después de trabajar con el cabello del personaje, comencé a trabajar completamente con el rostro, aplicando las mismas técnicas para darle más belleza a los ojos y con sus sombreados y degradados del rostro.

When I finished with the face, I began to work with the armor of my character, where in this part I had to be a little careful so that some colors were not mixed with the color of the hair, so I used a darker shade of blue to make the shading of the armor, I used white to create the lighting of the same armor, I also worked on the details that has the armor of yellow color, so it was adjusted each of these parts to make my drawing look the best way.

Al terminar con el rostro, comencé a trabajar con la armadura de mi personaje, donde en esta parte tenía que tener un poco de cuidado para que algunos colores no se mezclaran con el color del cabello, así que use un tono más oscuro de azul para hacer el sombreado de la armadura, use el color blanco para crear la iluminación de la misma armadura, también trabaje en los detalles que tiene la armadura de color amarillo, así que fue ajustado cada una de estas partes para que poder hacer que mi dibujo se viera de la mejor forma.
