Went out to look for a Toy Car that our toddler could ride and what we considered before buying.

The last time we went , we saw a Toy Car- excavator perfect for our son Caleb.

When we took it from the shelves and let him test, he didn't hesitnant sitting on and started driving. The size was appropriate and eventhough he couldn't talked yet, we are sure he loves it.
Upon checking it cost around $26. Expensive for me but his Daddy was willing to buy it for him. He find it hard to say NO, 🤣. So we asked assistance from the staff but unfortunately that was the last stock.
I find it not right to buy it as it already had a little bit damages, scratches and etc.
Thankful, Caleb didn't cry as he was busy playing with his cousin. Thus, I told the husband we just look at the nearest mall in our place the next day. Perhaps there are similar that we could buy.
Our son may not understand it yet, but as much as possible we wanted to kept our promise. That is why the next day, we went out. The goal was to buy him a toy car.
Yes, he had a lot of toys at home but this was different and good for him to enhance his balancing, the motor skills.

The moment he saw these toys, he was so excited and kept on saying wow. See, he immediately picked one. I was surprised seeing how expensive toys are. The one he is holding is already around $17!
That feeling when you are excited but then you're Mama say NO! Hahaha, the tantrums was real.

Why I didn't buy it?
Simple I find it too expensive and doesn't look durable. It was too small and materials might get broke .
Might we checked other shops to find something better.

Fortunately, there was another store but now he also want that RED CAR! Yes, we loved our son but now it's a NO! That was too expensive and beyond our budget.
What did we chose?

Yes, it look similar but not totally.

Though it cost $9 higher than the previous one I am at ease to let him play.
The materials was thicker and heavy duty especially to an energetic toddler. As a Mom I also wanted savings and always look on the budget but if I could still afford? I prefer the safety first of my son.
I am someone who always visualize what possible outcome of anything. Yeah and overthinker and OA sometimes. But then, I always believe prevention is better.
Anyone could relate?
