So this is my application to become a treasurer for the SPS DAO.

I'm not going to pretend like I'm the perfect person for the job, my experience with EVM in general is very limited. Nevertheless, I am and always have been willing to learn and I'm quite confident I'll be able to figure this out as well.
I've also gotten and will get into fights over random things because they either go against some of my core believes or, well, simply because I think the other person is wrong and somebody has to tell them.

But anyway, I do believe that setting this thing up is a very important step for our little DAO and I also believe that it's very important to have enough people stepping up to have an actual vote going.

Personally, I've been around Splinterlands since February of 2000 and have been interacting with the ecosystem daily ever since. I own roughly 1.8M SPS, a region, 10 validators, and a lot of cards in the game. So overall, I'm not the biggest holder, but I do have a sizable stake in the game - more than I have in any other ecosystem for what it's worth.

When the SPS airdrop started, my goal was to one day have 1M SPS. Well, that didn't take me quite as long as I expected and I've been stacking ever since. My personal rule is that I will always have more SPS staked at the end of the week than what I had staked at the beginning. So in other words, I'll take profit like everybody else every now and then, but I'm never going to sell more than what's coming in in any given week.

I love the game, the ecosystem, and more than anything else, the vision Matt has and is trying to implement with Splinterlands. Things might not be looking that well right now and there are a lot of other projects out there, but there's no ecosystem I'd rather be involved in and, more importantly, there's no other ecosystem I'd even consider voluntarily spending my time on without getting anything in return.
