My 2025 ZAPFICMonday and ZAPFIC50 Friday Stories In Freewriters Community (October 1 - December 31)

This is a Curated Collection of posts for stories created in the Freewriters Community during the period October 1st through December 31st, 2025. The stories consist of flash fiction entries in the ZAPFICMonday and the new ZAPFIC50 Friday challenges by the community leader, @felt.buzz. Challenges are in the form of word or phrase prompts.
As stated in the names, the challenges begin on Mondays or a Friday and run for one week. Winners and runners-ups are announced the following Monday, together with a new prompt challenge.
For ZAPFICMonday stories, authors are challenged to write as near complete a story as possible using 240 characters or less. And this includes spaces and other diacritical marks.
For ZAPFIC50 Friday stories, authors are challenged to write as near complete a story using exactly 50 words.
These are quite a feat; however, many freewrite community members accept the challenge and submit entries. Along with their entries, authors must evidence the character and word length with a Word Counter program.
