Our planet, or perhaps even more so, our universe, is made up of stone, from the tiniest pebble to the mountainous rock. These are the kinds of natural formations that always powerfully capture our visual attention.

On a trip to Coche Island (in Venezuela), I was able to take these photos of formations that interested me.
