Card Sharp Instead of Tarantula Loom in Soulkeep

In Soulkeep, the most important thing you learn quickly is to experiment with all towers. You can't just rely on one tower and that's it. Each tower has a specific playstyle, and not always what looks good actually works in practice.
For example, I started using a tower called Tarantula Loom, and I was really excited about it. It looked strange and I felt it would do a good job. But honestly, it didn't perform as well as I expected. Its attacks were slow, and its impact on Fiends wasn't as strong as I'd hoped, so I decided to switch.
I then tried Charnel Pit, and it was really powerful, but its main problem was that it consumed a lot of mana. If you don't have a lot of mana, this tower will be more of a burden than a benefit. I constantly had to wait for my mana to replenish before I could use it effectively which led to me losing several rounds.
In the end, I decided to take a step back and focus on another tower called Card Sharp and that really surprised me. This tower has a very good Fire Rate of 1.2 meaning it attacks quickly. It also has a Magic Attack of 135, which is a very good number for this category. More importantly, its Range is around 235 meaning it can attack from afar and control a large area of the map.
What I also liked about Card Sharp is its balance: it doesn't consume a lot of mana, isn't slow, or isn't weak. I felt it was the right tower for this stage of the game, and it allowed me to regain control of waves without worrying about running out of resources.
A piece of advice for anyone playing Soulkeep: try each tower, don't judge it the first time, and always look for a balance between power, speed, and resource consumption. For me, Card Sharp was the right formula.
