Mid Way Point At The End Of The Season

Hello fellow Garden Nerds! How are your gardens doing? I imagine for many of you it is coming to an end, and of course for our friends south of the Equator, it is at the start. I love this about Hive. We are a world wide community. Our cultures, way of life, surroundings are so different. Yet we are so alike, for we share quite an unique bond. The bond of the Hive Block Chain! If you post to IG, or even Twitter, and Facebook you may share a photo or two, and a paragraph at most. But here when that Markdown box is open, it inspires us to give it our all, and share whatever we can think of. This is why I tell someone new to Hive to just be yourself, and post about what you love. Then it will come easy for you. There are some things I like, and I may have posted once or twice about it. But the things I love, that is what you will see the most of when you open my Blog. Family, and yeap. GARDENING!

It has been 13 days since the last update, and I am at the mid point. Due to my late start this year, I am a couple months behind. But this is ok since my grow Zone will not have any frost to at least late December. So I am not worried.

I will go ahead and start off with a huge disappointment. My Onions.

I had such a hard time with these from the start. From the seeds being to small, and my dumb a** trying to start them off in a paper towel. They where doomed from the start! LOL. Then the ones I did manage to get going, well you see the end result above. Next year I copy how @bluefinstudios did his Onions.

My Tomatoes are looking great! I have been feeding the branches through the cage. The one that I waited to long is a complete mess. But a little bit of cleaning up is doing the trick.

Here is something that has been in the works for quite some time, Yellow Watermelon. Now this one had a lot of little fruits coming in, but they keep falling off. But there is finally one that is doing good. I will take it!

The Pumpkins are coming along good. Up to this point each vine only had 1 Pumpkin, with1 vine having 2. Now I am happy to see more Pumpkins form on the vine that had the 2 Pumpkins.

There are even some Pumpkins coming in on the little ones I planted outside of the garden!

Between the Pumpkins, and this Glass Corn above, it is going to be a colorful Fall!

Almost forgot to share my Serrano's! These will be ready to pick in a week or so. Cant wait to make some Tacos, and throw some of these on!:)

Then my side project, the Sunflower patch. These seem like they grew fast! Next year need to get them in the ground sooner, so they can be taller. But they are still visible from the office. Which is nice, since they planted Black Berries across the road, and blocked our view to the mountain's.

When the beauty is taken away, you can always bring it back with a little hard work, :) Next year I plan to plant more of these Gladiola's. That, and more Garlic. But in the meantime I will make due with my current garden, and go with the flow. Have a great week everyone!
