JESUS REMAIN THE GREAT GAIN.

Greetings everyone, it's a pleasure and a great moment to remind ourselves about what truly matters.

Just as many people believe that, life's success and great achievement comes through personal efforts and human connections. And this is to them a great gain, this idea should be considered as a material vanity, because there's no spiritual benefits attached.

Looking through the bible, it says " what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and losses his own soul. (Mark 8:36)
I also learned that it's very expressive to win a natural in an expense of external values.

This particular write-up and scripture shows the desire for temporary possessions and a lifestyle without Jesus, as a distraction to the salvation of the soul. This verse emphasizes more on the importance of spiritual values, over material interests, and worldly success.

It ask a rhetorical question, highlighting the ultimate futility of gaining everything in life and its pleasures, including all forms of lusts and appetites, if one loses his spiritual connection and salvation.

Listen to this from the biblical standpoint.
" For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Having Jesus as your eternal gain, comes with a lot of benefits, which few will be listed out below.

• Eternal life: Jesus offers eternal life to all those who truly believe in Him ( 1 John 5:13, John 5:25, 10:28).
• Forgiveness of sins: Jesus will definitely forgives all our sins, and we receive a cleanse slate (1 John 1:9).
  *Righteousness: we're made righteous through faith in Christ Jesus alone, enabling us to stand before God blameless as His beloved children
  (Roman 3:22-24)
• The gift of Holy spirit: The Holy spirit will be released upon us as power and direction through our journey here on earth ( Acts 2:38)
• Adoption in God's family: we automatically becomes children of God, with all the privileges and benefits that comes with it ( Romans 8:14-17)

As no natural person would want to venture into loses, downturns or setback, gain in Christ literally means having benefits or profit, advantage or surge over others.

What does man gain from all his labour, of which he toils under the sun?
(Ecc. 1:3)

Yet when i surveyed all that my hands has done, and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind, nothing was gained under the sun. (Ecc. 2:11).

After putting up this write-up, through the help of God, I admonished us to choose Jesus for total gain. Because the bible says that " He who has the son, has life, he who does not have the son of God, does not have life. ( 1 John 5:12)

The sincere meaning of this whole matter is that, salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Eternal life is a gift, and those who reject Jesus, shall loose a lot. It's my prayers that as we're reading from this wonderful message, may God help us realize how important and gainful Jesus is for us.
