Geometry in the SATs. 5+A=10. What is A? A = 5. 10-5 = 5. For Algebra, it is important to show the work, how you get to the answer. What is the formula. In answering questions on the SATs, you may want to try to find the question that is buried in the text. You might see many words but you have to try to make the question very simple in your brain before you can look for the answer. D was a better answer than C because D was more specific to the exact question; letter C was okay but letter D was better; the SATs can be hard, it is important to try to find the best answer; but it can be hard if several answers, like C and D might both be right; so it is important to try to make the questions and answers very simple in your mind and try to find the best answer; it is sort of like Algebra where you try to find a formula for finding answer like 5+A=10, what is A; and you said 10-5=5; so A=5; and the reading and writing parts of the SATs are sort of like the math part of the test but with words instead of numbers; but like with math, you can try to use formulas for finding the answers; it is very important to make questions and answers very simple or else you might sometimes get confused and then you might not pick the best answer.
