Simple Prayer Answered

Greetings Hive! How are you all doing? I hope everything is well on your end. Here, a second typhoon this week entered the country. Not just any typhoon, it's forecasted to reach a maximum wind of 205 km/h. On top of that, I am still recovering from the flu.

Sorry to start on a negative note, but I want to share something positive today.
This morning, I went to our Aikido practice area. Since I am still recovering from the flu, I did not go to practice but to talk with my co-instructor about the demo next week. They had just concluded the practice session when I arrived.

We just talked about what to do during the demo. Then he handed me a portion of the fee he received for the day. While we continued chatting, a parent of one of our students passed by and asked us if we had lunch already. We said no. Then she handed us some cash, saying it's for our lunch. It was a generous amount. We thanked her for it.

After our discussion, I went to a nearby mall to buy a pair of swimming trunks for my son. Feeling grateful for the extra that I received. Then I remembered something... Didn't I ask in prayer to earn an extra amount today? The extra amount that I mentioned in my prayer was the exact amount that I got from the parent. Plus, I got some extra cash from my co-instructor!
Wow! And I did not even do anything to earn that amount! I was thinking that I could only earn that amount if I had some sales on my Redbubble shop! I guess God has a way of reminding me that He always provides in his own way!
