Hello #Hive friends!... I know "dogs and cats" is a bit of an unexpected theme for a Christmas Day post, but the truth is, at least for me, these adorable animals deserve to be in my photography portfolio any day of the year. So, I woke up early today, and while everyone else was still asleep at home, I spent some time selecting these recent photos of dogs and cats I've seen on my streets to share with you on #Hive... So, Happy Holidays to everyone celebrating, and here's my gift of photos of dogs and cats!... 🐶😺

Ya sé que "perros y gatos" es una temática un poco inesperada para una publicación del día de Navidad, pero la verdad es que, cuando menos para mi, estos animales encantadores merecen estar presentes en mi portafolio fotográfico cualquier día del año. Y es así, como hoy desperté temprano y mientras todos dormían en casa, me dediqué a seleccionar estas fotos recientes con perros y gatos vistos en mis calles, para compartir con ustedes en #Hive... Así que Felices Fiestas a todos quienes están celebrando, y aquí les va mi regalo a base de fotos de perros y gatos!... 🐶😺

It's fascinating, simply fascinating... Sometimes I lose track of how many photos of dogs and cats I take during my walks through the streets. Then, when I check my files, I'm usually pleasantly surprised to find there are always a lot. And that's how I can create posts like this one, based on photos of these charming animals... Because, when it comes to dogs and cats, my feeling as a photographer is almost as psychic as when I photograph people. There's something about these animals, especially when I take close-up portraits of them, that makes me understand, or at least feel, that they know everything that's going on...

Es fascinante, es simplemente fascinante... Algunas veces no recuerdo cuantas fotos de perros y gatos hago a lo largo de mis recorridos callejeros. Entonces, cuando reviso en mis archivos, por lo general me encuentro con la agradable sorpresa de que son muchas siempre. Y es así como puedo construir publicaciones como esta, basada en fotos de estos animales encantadores... Y es que, cuando se trata de perros y gatos, mi sensación como fotógrafo es casi tan psíquica como cuando hago fotos de personas. Hay algo en estos animales, especialmente cuando hago retratos cercanos de ellos; que me hace entender, o cuando menos sentir, que saben todo lo que está ocurriendo...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7}
