Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy | Degeneration all around

Almost everything Netflix throws in my face I end up watching, and this series was no exception, I don't remember what I ended up watching and in the suggestions it put Bastard first. I didn't know what it was about at all, I hadn't seen any trailer, I hadn't read any synopsis, nothing, but I could infer from the title that what I was going to see wouldn't be something normal and decent, on the contrary, it was going to contain too many things that would make me want to leave it, but at the same time I was going to like it too much to abandon it. It was like that, during the first chapter more than one WTF came out of me, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, let alone knew how to react in a proper way, but it's so well done that it managed to make me watch all the chapters no matter that almost all of them contained elements that I dislike or avoid watching in anime, just for that reason I decided to make this review and not pass by.

Bastard! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy is going to place us in a kingdom that went through one of its greatest misfortunes, well, the human world was the one who went through one of its greatest misfortunes, I forgot the order of the events, so I hope to tell them in the right order. As always, humanity is a shit and greed along with the rest of emotions, thoughts and negative feelings led to the ruin of humanity, apart from that a goddess of destruction woke up and together with 5 warriors almost managed to destroy humanity completely, only they managed to put it to sleep, and those 5 warriors continued in the fight, until their leader, Dark Schneider was defeated and they almost put an end to that war, but 15 years later they are attacked again by these evil people who seek the destruction of humans, then the kingdom is forced to use Dark Schneider to defend themselves, which will make things do not go the way they expect.

Casi todo lo que Netflix me lanza a la cara lo termino viendo, y esta serie no fue la excepción, no recuerdo qué terminé de ver y en las sugerencias me puso a Bastard de primero. No sabía de qué trataba en absoluto, no había visto algún trailer, no había leído alguna sinopsis, nada, pero podía inferir por el título que lo que iba a ver no sería algo normal y decente, al contrario, iba a contener demasiadas cosas que me harían querer dejarlo, pero a la vez me iba a gustar demasiado como para abandonarlo. Fue así, durante el primer capítulo más de un WTF salió de mí, no podía creer lo que estaba viendo, y mucho menos sabía cómo reaccionar de una manera adecuada, pero está tan bien hecho que logró hacer que viera todos los capítulos sin importar que casi todos contuvieran elementos que me desagradan o evito ver en los animes, solo por eso decidí hacer esta reseña y no pasar de largo.

Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy nos va a situar en un reino que pasó por una de sus mayores desgracias, bueno, el mundo humano fue quién pasó por una de sus mayores desgracias, olvidé el orden de los hechos, así que espero contarlos en el orden correcto. Como siempre, la humanidad es una mierda y la codicia junto al resto de emociones, pensamientos y sentimientos negativos llevaron a la ruina a la humanidad, aparte de que una diosa de la destrucción despertó y junto 5 guerreros casi logran destruir a la humanidad por completo, solo que lograron ponerla a dormir, y esos 5 guerreros siguieron en la lucha, hasta que su lider, Dark Schneider fue derrotado y le pusieron casi un fin a esa guerra, pero 15 años después vuelven a ser atacados por esa gente malvada que busca la destrucción de los humanos, entonces el reino se ve en la obligación de usar a Dark Schneider para defenderse, lo que hará que las cosas no salgan de la forma en que esperan.

The opening and ending are some of the best things the anime has, the song is one of the best, and makes you really enjoy what you are watching, and not only there, during the whole anime we are going to have a lot of heavy metal in the background that will be the best background music in the world for the epic battle scenes. Those battle scenes are another of the best things that the series has, from the beginning knowing that it was about the best magician that ever existed, I expected a lot of magic thrown at will without any discrimination, but no, well, there is magic thrown at will without any discrimination, the only thing that surprised me is that it is an old-fashioned magic and needs spells longer than the anthem of any country to be used, then that huge verbiage is something that fascinated me from the beginning and had me in ecstasy throughout the series.

This series also has too much comedy and I was dying with coughing and laughing fits at every turn, it's a joke for shonen, and they spend the whole series remembering it. More than once Dark Schneider is going to remind us that no one can beat him because he is the most beautiful and powerful protagonist there is, as well as the fact that no one can be on his level because he is the protagonist and no one can beat the protagonist, and it never hurts to say that he will remind us over and over again of the fact that since he is the most beautiful of all, he deserves to have the attention of all the beautiful women without giving them a chance to resist his charms.

El opening y el ending son de las mejores cosas que tiene el anime, la canción es de lo mejor, y hace que de verdad disfrutes de lo que estás viendo, y no solo ahí, durante todo el anime vamos a tener mucho heavy metal de fondo que será la mejor música de ambiente en el mundo para las escenas de batallas épicas que hay. Esas escenas de batallas son otra de las mejores cosas que tiene la serie, desde un principio al saber que se trataba sobre el mejor mago que ha existido, esperaba mucha magia lanzada a voluntad sin discriminación alguna, pero no, bueno, sí hay magia lanzada a voluntad sin discriminación alguna, lo único que me sorprendió es que es una magia a la antigua y necesita de hechizos más largos que el himno de cualquier país para poder ser usados, entonces esa palabrería descomunal es algo que me fascinó desde un principio y me tuvo en pleno éxtasis toda la serie.

Esta serie también tiene demasiada comedia y me estaba muriendo con ataques de tos y risa a cada rato, es un chiste para los shonen, y pasan toda la serie recordándolo. Más de una vez Dark Schneider nos va a recordar que nadie le puede ganar porque es el protagonista más hermoso y poderoso que existe, así como el hecho de que nadie puede estar a su nivel porque es el protagonista y nadie le puede ganar al protagonista, y nunca está de más decir que nos recordará una y otra vez el hecho de que como es el más hermoso de todos, merece tener la atención de todas las mujeres hermosas sin darles la oportunidad de que se resistan a sus encantos.

One of my biggest problems, or maybe the only problem I have with the series is the overriding need they have to sexualize things so much, fuck, that's the only thing that bothers me, no lie, I think all the female personas are sexualized here, and not in a delicate or subtle way, it's not a sexualization that they put in front of us, the only thing missing was that there was explicit sex, ah, no, yes there is, they just never show the genitals, but depravity is always present and it is something that makes me very disgusted and that I despise too much, and that's why I say that the series is very well done because I managed to finish watching it despite all that.

In its defense I can say that not only did they sexualize the women, but Dark Schneider, its main character, also spends the whole series almost in a complete state of undress, showing his buttocks, not only saying that he is the most beautiful of them all, but that he is the most sexual man of all, but that he is the most sexually attractive man and that is why no woman can refuse him or reject him, and I would have loved it if they had made him bisexual at least, because Dark Schneider has all the stereotype to not only seduce women, but also men, which would have caused more impact than it already causes.

Uno de mis mayores problemas, o quizás el único problema que tengo con la serie es la imperante necesidad que tienen de sexualizar tanto las cosas, joder, eso es lo único que me molesta, sin mentir, creo que todos los personaes femeninos están sexualizados aquí, y no de una forma delicada o sutil, no es una sexualización que nos ponen de frente, sin tapujos, lo único que faltó fue que hubiera sexo explícito, ah, no, sí lo hay, solo que nunca muestran los genitales, pero la depravación está presente siempre y es algo que me da mucho asco y que desprecio demasiado, y es por eso que digo que la serie está muy bien hecha porque logré terminarla de ver a pesar de todo eso.

En su defensa puedo decir que no solo sexualizaron a las mujeres, si no que Dark Schneider, su protagonista, también pasa toda la serie casi en un estado completo de desnudes, mostrando las nalgas, no solo diciendo que es el más hermoso de todos, si no que es el hombre más sexualmente atractivo y que por eso ninguna mujer se le puede negar o lo puede llegar a rechazar, y hubiera amado demasiado que lo hubieran hecho bisexual al menos, pues Dark Schneider tiene todo el estereotipo para que no solo sedujera a mujeres, si no también a los hombres, lo que hubiera causado más impacto de lo que ya causa.

The end of the first season is something incredible and wonderful full of a lot of indiscriminate magic that is able to leave us with our mouths open and wanting more, because yes, the end is inconclusive, we still have much more to see to know the end of the story of Dark Schneider, if humanity will come to an end or not, we still have too much to see, we do not know if Dark Schneider can finally have children, if he will regain his harem, if he will conquer what he once lost, but above all, if he is really the protagonist of a shonen more powerful and beautiful than the rest of the others.

There I left the trailer, a trailer just as epic as the series, it doesn't tell you much, and I think that may be the only problem, but otherwise, it delivers everything it can give and more, go see this degenerate series that not only has sexualization left and right, but also has good music, lots of magic, and a plot that can become better than it already is.

El final de la primera temporada es algo increíble y maravilloso lleno de una gran cantidad de magia indiscriminada que es capaz de dejarnos con la boca abierta y ganas de más, porque sí, el final es inconcluso, aún nos falta mucho más que ver para poder saber el final de la historia de Dark Schneider, si la humanidad llegará a su fin o no, aún nos falta demasiado por ver, no sabemos si Dark Schneider finalmente podrá tener hijos, su volverá a tener su harem, si logrará conquistar lo que una vez perdió, pero sobre todo, si es de verdad el protagonista de un shonen más poderoso y hermoso que el resto de los demás.

Ahí les dejé el trailer, un trailer igual de épico que la serie, no les dice mucho, la verdad, y creo que eso puede ser el único problema, pero de resto, entrega todo lo que puede dar y más, vayan a ver esta serie degenarada que no solo tiene sexualización a diestra y siniestra, si no que también tiene buena música, mucha magia, y una trama que puede llegar a ser mejor de lo que ya es.
