Sunday coffee

Today my best friend and I discovered that the one that used to be our favorite coffee in the city had reopened. They closed it last year suddenly for reasons that we don't know so when we knew it was open again it made us really happy.
We went in the afternoon and the quiet atmosphere of the place plus the works of art they use to decorate it as usual delighted us, It reminded us of all the good moments we had there. We ask for a coffee called cortado, which is an espresso shot with a little milk, to our surprise it was accompanied by a chocolate wich we gladly enjoyed. I threw the chocolate inside the coffee and my friend said I was making a real mess, but I think it was very tasty so I don't care, LOL.
We also ordered torrejas, wich is a cuban made sweet that we really like, it's cooked with bread, honey, milk and eggs all fried together that came with some banana slices. As usual we chat a lot and gossip, coffee and dessert were delicious. It was just what we needed to end the week and relax a bit.
I totally recommend the place, it's called El Ingenio, it's in calle Enramadas and besides we heard that these days they're going to have concerts in the place, the stage was already mounted and everything looked very good so I'm sure I'll go back soon to try other coffees and desserts on the menu.
