When on vacation | coffee at 5 AM?

Last weekend, we had a side trip to 5AM Cafe, one of the most famous cafe in Dalaguete.

One of the advantage of coffee shops on rural sea side is the naturally aesthetic vibe of the the province. This simple cafe, mostly made of wood interior, is located near the pier.



It was a sunny day so most of us ordered an iced coffee drink to beat the heat. On most days, I drink a freshly hot brewed coffee with nothing else in it. But since im on a vacation, I ordered something different - salted caramel latte. I prefer the smallest size because I almost always cannot finish a drink. Halfway through the liquids and I don't feel like drinking it anymore.


They also sell souvenirs such as crocheted bags and printed shirt. Upon scanning their QR to see the complete available items and its price list, I was shock to know that prices for these handmade bags are costly. To be fair, the displays are really pretty and each items are Hand made with love.

One of my officemates complimented that my coffee, bag, and accessory coordinated really well as if it's from some Pinterest photo so I took a photo for my Instagram story.

We stayed at the cafe for a good 30 minutes. The friendly staffs warmly accomodated us and attend to our requests.

While sipping on my coffee and wandering around, it suddenly dawned to me that its already a workday again tomorrow- Monday. The weekend was a blur.

We finished our drinks and continued our road trip. Its still a long road ahead going back to the city. Good thing my energy was refueled by this small latte.
