What's in a name?

Ararat is a good 200 kms west of Melbourne. A sizeable town 8,500 people.

In 1841, Horatio Wills, on his way to selecting country further south, wrote in his diary, "like the Ark we rested" and named a nearby hill Mt Ararat. It is from this entry and the nearby Mount that the town takes its name.

Michael continues his journey around the country towns of Victoria.

Unity Through Adversity

The theme of the interviews can vary as to a person's motivation to make a stand in the park. It can be for relgious, personal, spiritual, and logical rationale, that brings people together to express themselves. They sit with Michael and talk. Those who be,lieve have little to say, end up saying the most.

I found the discussion with the first gentleman the most profound for my logical brain.

All things come with risk. But I don't think it is acceptable for people to unknowingly enter risk without having any type of measurement to assess their own risk profile.

I have said, for years, that we are morally, and ethically, bankrupt as a people.
How can we make mature decisions when we are lacking a holistic approach to life.
The self centred attitude, and short term thinking, of people seems to bankrupt our souls.
When I find a person who has a depth of interest in some hobby, skill or interest, I see a person who looks beyond fear and reaction.

So, when the gentleman talks about our moral and ethical standing to society, it resonates very much with my core being. We are not homogenous. We cannot expect people to be the same as we are. But I do appreciate that we enter into a Social contract of importance. To ensure that we follow the basic Universal principles of respect and personal space.

Nothing is Perfectly Safe

Everything in our life involves a level of risk. But we evaluate whether the potential reward outweighs that risk. Even driving your car down the road has a certain level of risk.

With regard to the jabb, the interviewee, logically plays out;

They call it an experiment but they are not asking the unjabbed how we survived. There's no control groups. It ended up that the virus wasn't a death sentence.

The fact that people accepted that there was collateral damage. People didn't mind as they have been told that the world is overpopulated.

The actual issue with humanity is that we need to do better with our resources. To know we can do significantly better. Areas such as how we deal with plastics, for example, needs alot more work.

Age of Reasoning leads to Empathy which leads to greater being in the world.
