Grey Skies, Warm Smiles

Hello my dear Hivers!

Isn't it great to have the experience of receiving an unexpected pasalubong from someone? Such a surprise that immediately lights up your day! It really is so nice, right?

Today I want to share with you the little pasalubong our supervisor gave us. But before that let me tell you how my day went by.

I was welcomed at the office with the smell of tasty pandesal. Eating pandesal in the morning always makes my day better - especially when someone is already selling it right in front of the office. It is such a little joy, but it really sets the mood for the day.

The time was about 9 AM and our supervisor came in with a surprise for us—a very large variety of snacks and food.We, on our part, did not expect it at all. Sir handed us the food and we took it as well our thanks. It's always these small acts of kindness that make the work less heavy and more pleasurable.

Actually, I noticed that the photos I took are very dark when I checked the pictures. Most probably because it was a cloudy day. But still, the weather was very calm and cozy.

In the late afternoon, we finally left for home. One thing I really like is that we always walk as a group to the highway, talking and laughing along the way. It is such a nice thing to do that makes the day end at a good point.

Just after 5 PM, the bus was packed and I thought it better if I took a motorcycle.Honestly, I was not at all stressed, instead, I was able to take a comfy seat and enjoy the view. Although the sun was covered by clouds, the nature around was quite beautiful. The clouds softening the light really brought the area to a very pure and fresh seeming. The silence of nature is among its beauties even when it is not sunny outside.
