"Harvesting Sweetness: The Joy of Ripe Jackfruit from Our Backyard”

While we were walking and talking, I smelled this sweet aroma, and I didn’t even need to check what it was—I could tell just from the scent. And there it was, guys, the jackfruit my dad had wrapped in a sack was finally ripe!

So we brought it closer to my younger sibling since I was with him. We were actually planning to harvest bananas, but because we smelled the ripe jackfruit, we stopped and took a look.

Since we had a bolo with us, I cut open the sack and saw that it was really ripe and ready to harvest. We didn’t wait any longer—we picked it straight from the tree so we could finally eat it. Just from the smell, guys, it was already so sweet!
The jackfruit my dad planted is really delicious every time it ripens. It’s not easy to find such sweet ones, and it’s so good it could even be made into candy.

This time, two jackfruits were ripe, and we harvested them together. Since my younger brother is already experienced at harvesting, he climbed the tree to get them himself.
Guys, they looked beautiful and were super sweet—ready to eat! This is the best part of having your own plants: you can harvest them anytime they’re ripe and ready to enjoy.
