This time we were in the hands of Poppe Photographs, a studio of excellent professionals who have been working on social photography for more than three decades and which has been joined by a girl from our family, Lisy, with skills for hairstyling and styling. make-up.

It is a day marked by exhaustion, also by happiness, it is like a girl's transition towards adulthood and a goal achieved. In other, more dire times, a beautiful party with many guests was common. This part of the tradition that includes a buffet, drinks, waltz and more photos, is postponed because the current circumstances are not conducive.

La familia está de fiesta

Hoy mi familia estuvo de fiesta, asistimos a las fotos de 15 de nuestra niña Lexy. Hace unos días comentaba sobre esta tradición cubana y que además es una práctica de algunas regiones de latinoamérica: los 15.
Los 15 de una chica es un acontecimiento que la familia se planifica desde que nace la niña: compra de vestuario, arreglo de cabello, de uñas y otros afeites convierten a la niña en una modelo o princesa de cuentos de hadas, que no es más que un indicio de un sueño adolescente que se conserva para toda la vida.

Es algo que llena de felicidad a la familia, que pese a contrariedades y escaseces se traza como objetivo la celebración de este acontecimiento.

Es un día marcado por el agotamiento, también por la felicidad, es como un tránsito de la niña hacia la adultez y una meta cumplida. En otros tiempos más aciagos, era común una hermosa fiesta con muchos invitados. Esta parte de la tradición que comprende bufet, bebidas, vals y más fotos, es aplazada porque las circunstancias actuales no son propicias.

Les he compartido parte de una tradición cubana que se sostiene pese a todo, porque es reflejo del orgullo de la familia cuando en su seno nace una niña que sueña con ser Princesa y adulta y luego se convertirá en mujer dadora de vida, en madre universal.
