Robots in war!?

In this digital world, we have advanced technologies. Those technologies were invented to make our lives easy and comfortable, and they are continuously trying their best. But everything comes to this world in pairs. If we are receiving the blessing of advanced technologies, there must be a negative side or curse to it. There is no way we can eliminate it completely because the human mind is complex. It is for good purposes, but they are also capable of misusing it. That's why technology is a double-edged sword.

In case weapon technologies are made more powerful and destructive. With the help of AI, all technologies have now received a boost. And using it can increase the destructive power extremely. That is the reason war is very cruel in the present time. Is it possible that modern technologies and AI can reduce the destruction of a war? What if we use robots in war, which can save the lives of many soldiers? Will it be a good thing? Let me share my thoughts related to it.

From the primary perspective, if we use robots instead of humans in war, it means saving the lives of many soldiers in the war. The robot will decide the outcome of the war. So it can be considered a good thing. I don't think about it in that way. Using robots and advanced technologies will cost a huge sum. To defend a country, the government will use most of the funds for technologies and robots, and such a thing will bring financial crises in many countries. Because of that, many people will suffer from hunger for sure, and I think it is more cruel than dying in the war.

Again, if robots are used in war, it means that developed countries will be the strong for having good financial backup, which can allow those countries to make many advanced robots with more destructive power. And it will be just a matter of time before those few countries will dominate the world using the robots because war occurs because of the conflicts of thoughts, and as long as they exist, war will not stop. And two other dominant humans can go for extra length. In fact, those robots will be used to kill more people in the end, and that's why I don't support the idea. So I think advanced technologies with the help of AI on the battlefield may seem to reduce destruction from the surface, but in the long run, they will bring more destruction for us.

But I really figured out an idea that can reduce destruction. What if it occurs in the virtual battlefield? It's like playing PUBG or something. Using 3D simulations, an equal number of soldiers will be allowed to participate in a war in a virtual world, and based on their skills, any country can win. And all the decisions will be made depending on it. The winner will have the final say. Soldiers can battle in the same way, but in a virtual world, which will allow them to determine the winner without losing a single life. I know that to make it possible, both countries, and the world as well, need to come to an agreement, which is the most difficult part, but I believe that it is not impossible, at least. Don't you think it can be a better solution?
