-with stakes this high why didn't the other gods from the other 6 nations take an interest? I mean sure in Sumeru there was the off chance an old dragon was gonna explode and supposedly blanket the world in overgrowth but that was unlikely to happen and would have been easily contained since the epicenter would have still been 1 nation. There's a whole mountain range blocking anything happening in Sumeru from hitting Liyue at least, a wide desert separating it from Natlan and a large river bank separating it from Fontaine. The thing happening in Fontaine, Mondstadt and Inazuma also only affected the locals. But Natlan? We're talking the Cataclysm Round 2. That was a whole world kinda deal so you'd think other people would have taken interest. I mean to be fair even though Inazuma only affected Inazumans, we had Ningguang send Beidou over to help.

You know what's it's like? Remember back when the MCU was a good movie franchise? After the first Avengers movie people wondered how the later films would explain why the situation happening in those movies didn't call over the whole Avengers team every time? Like the thing in Thor 2 which nearly destroyed the world. You'd think Thor would have called over his team instead of taking it on alone.

Anyway there are plenty of loose ends with this act. I think or rather I hope and pray that it was done on purpose because we've got Act V still waiting in the wings. Right now all it sounds like is doing a thing to save Mavuika and then fighting off the Abyss for good. That's not really enough content to justify a whole separate act of the Archon Quest. So my guess and my desperate hope is that all of the inconsistencies we saw in the story so far will be addressed there too. I mean miHoYo has done that before so they are definitely more than capable of it. Buuuuut they also came up with the Fontaine story which was terrible lol so they're also capable of screwing up royally.
