Some Fun at Goldland Resort

Drizzly Sunday morning, and there was light rain yesterday afternoon, too. It's odd, and probably the first in years, but it's quite nice for a change. At least the coldness was controlled, and the dust in the surroundings had been washed away, so things smell fresh for now.
It rarely rains in February here in our region (mostly dry season between January and March). The hubby thinks we are affected (with light rains and drizzles) by the recent typhoon (Basyang) that ravaged some places in the country, leaving damaged infrastructure due to flash flooding. We hope everyone is safe and sound in those places🙏
Meanwhile, we are having another laid-back Sunday, but before we laze away, let me share some captures in San Vicente (Ilocos Sur) last month.

It was high tide in the North, and the kids really wanted a dip, so we headed south to Ilocos Sur, where my brother found this place (Goldland Resort) for us to spend the night. We were the only guests (we bumped into other guests checking out as we checked in), so we were allowed to enjoy an extended karaoke session in the evening (8-10 pm).
While strolling around the spaces, I noticed the cool shadows of plants and such, so I clicked, clicked, clicked.

Couldn't help taking some more photos of the place from that night. Reflections, shadows, and of course, my little boy.

Anyway, we enjoyed swimming in the clear waters the following day, until the LilGuy got tired, so he and I strolled to the next door grounds and
.After that, we walked back to the resort compound for a good shower. But before that, we had a bit of fun hunting shadows—the fence, for example, cast an interesting shadow, and so did the wee gate.

Behind the fencing on the right side, we saw some boats, and we couldn't resist taking a photo of them, because we noticed one with its cute little shadow on the sand.

Finally, we were inside the fenced property, where we captured these shadows in different shapes and sizes—all thanks to the bright sunshine that allowed objects to cast interesting figures on the ground.

We walked to our room for a good shower, had lunch when everyone in the clan was back from the waters, checked out afterwards and drove home, for the kids were attending school the following day.
