Saw this new sticker on Bitmoji and couldn't resist using it. It's exactly what I feel like doing more of these days -- just lying down and staring at the ceiling. I'm thankful for two cool weather nights. Now, my day off begins tonight so it's time to treat myself to some cooling. It got a little warmer today so it's just right.
Welcoming my day off weekly never grows old. It's escape night too -- time to enjoy my murder mysteries. Crazy but I find them entertaining. 馃槄 I used to read a lot of mystery books. These days I like listening to audio books instead.

I think this quote is more timely for independence day. I do wonder if we're truly independent though. 馃檮 I had high hopes for my country, but happenings in the recent years truly have made me lose faith. Oh well.
The 1986 People Power Revolution made me proud. I think it was one time when the people collectively woke up and felt the need to fight for freedom. The dictator was then ousted from power. Sadly, the family is back in power. Like, WTF?! 馃槧
Caturday Feature : Mini's Kittens
It was our first time to take care of kitties. Back then I was not too involved with the feeding and all 'coz Mom was still around. She's the original cat momma. I'd say Mini's one of the smarter kitties as she had her kittens and we did not even notice that she got pregnant. 馃槄 Back in January 2020, we were surprised to see her come home with three little kittens.
That's Grumpy when she was a kitten. She got her name as she hissed at us the first time we saw her. 馃槄 Feisty yet she turned out to be one of the really good ones. More on her next time.
He got called Bashful 'coz that was him when we first saw him. He was shy and hiding under the wooden bench. 馃槀
Playful was the sweetest one. Sadly, we lost her when she was around six months old. It was the middle of the lockdowns and we found her below the stairs on the third floor. We never did find out who did her wrong. 馃槩
Mini did a good job of hiding her kittens before we even found out about them. That was back in the days when there were no online selling merchants in the building. There were less people around then, so the kitties were safer. So yes, people do more harm for pets and plants, as far as I'm concerned.

Nine days and counting. Oh yes, the month is almost coming to an end. I'm still waiting for the official announcement of summer. According to the weather news, it would not be as hot this year compared to last. Well, I'll believe it when it's over. 馃槅 But I do pray it would be true. 馃檹鉂わ笍馃挕
