An Important Lesson From Last Year

One area which I intend to improve in myself is the ability to ask for help.
I usually like to achieve without having to "inconvenience" someone. I may need help from someone but conclude that it will be an inconvenience and I don't want to stress the person.
As a result, I look for alternatives which may be more difficult, time consuming or even more expensive.

Late last year, a video was being circulated where a popular social media critic, Eric Gagua was encouraging people to ask for help, ask for what you need because many people are willing to "inconvenience" themselves to help if you ask.
Come to think of it, when someone asks me for help that could inconvenience me, I don't mind helping out. So why should it be so difficult to ask another person, a friend to help me out.
This is very important because life is not something you can do alone. You may be able to overcome some obstacles by yourself while some others will require assistance from others.
Man is a social being and doing things singlehandedly is not normal.
I have started well in this aspect anyway. I have begun to ask for help from friends without feeling too bad, afterall, they are my friend and should be willing to help me. What are friends for?
I have also seen that most of them are willing to help, without feeling like it is a big deal.
So it is an important lesson for me, which I wouldn't take for granted.
