Bluebird on West Maple April 2002
On Sunday I was up just before 6AM, fed the cat, and got my post up. Then I headed to the dining room table and started the transcription.
I worked on it off and on all day. At one point I looked up and saw a bluebird on the rope holding the feeders. But by the time I got up, got the camera, and got to the window he was gone.

So I’ve gone through my files for the best of the bluebird shots over the years.
I made it through “C-D” and took a short break and fed the stove.

I came back and worked through “E-K” and stopped for some lunch and a break.

Then I started “L – O” and finished that around 3:30PM. I’d had enough and made it past “M”, my goal.
I sat down and started Gilmore Girls at Season 1 and waited for it to start snowing. We are threatened with 5” – 10” overnight, to stop around 9AM.
On Sunday, once I’ve swept the walkways and steps, I need to clean the kitchen and start my last whole chicken in the crockpot. Then I sit down to see if I can get through “P”, “Q – S”, and “T –Z” in the notes. At some point I need to shower during one of the breaks.
After that, I will have notes for dozens of flowerbeds to transcribe. But it’s the plant notes I needed by March 1.
