Finally! - February 5, 2025 @goldenoakfarm

When I got up at 5AM on Wednesday, the session had finally uploaded. When I opened it, I immediately knew why it took so long to post.

When I watched the live session, I was very surprised to see John Kempf in person. I have only seen him in person at conferences when he did a session. Anything I saw online looked like the above.

John is Amish and they don’t like to have their image recorded. So the recording of him speaking had to have his logo imposed over his face.

So I immediately started transcribing the 1.25 hour session. I’d had 5 pages of poor notes from the live session, and after 3½ hours of transcribing, I had 10 pages. This was much more informative, as I was able to fill out the ideas more completely.

Once that was done, I just finished the chores from Tuesday, cleaning the kitchen, finishing the laundry, and working on the bills. Mid afternoon I got a shower and went to PT.

I’ve been watching Call the Midwife season 11 in the evenings and I finished it precisely at 8PM. Checked the stoves as it’s to drop to 7F during the night.

On Thursday a snowstorm is to start at 7AM and go all day long. If we get much snow, I don’t know if my helper will come at noon, in the middle of it, or not. My brother won’t be able to plow until late afternoon.

If he comes, the plan is to do the area around the fridge, the fridge itself inside and out, and if there’s time, start the lower cabinets.

In the morning I plan to try to finish the bills/budget and keep the stoves going. And as always there’s the kitchen to clean up.
